Well Constructed, State Property Strategies Can Result In Cost Avoidance

Leland Consulting Group was proud to cosponsor with Cushman & Wakefield the 2016 National Association of State Facilities Administrators (NASFA) conference, held in Portland, Oregon in June. The conference was attended by property management executives from 23 states who came to Portland to learn about best practices and discuss ways to achieve cost savings, leverage the buying power of states, and address the challenges that come with managing real estate as a public agency. Leland Consulting Group and Cushman & Wakefield have joined forces to provide public agencies with a single point of contact to evaluate their entire property portfolio, gauge the most promising opportunities for savings, assess opportunities at individual sites, and then execute transactions, including lease renegotiations, sales, owned property optimization, and acquisitions. By beginning with a strategic planning process led by Leland Consulting Group, agencies are assured that processes and projects are directly tied to customized guiding principles such as cost avoidance, employee recruitment and retention, seismic resiliency, and other values appropriate for each agency. The team will present a webinar on this approach to NASFA members on August 25. For more information about NASFA, please click here.
