Port of Vancouver Welcomes Biotech Tenant at Former Hotel Property


Leland Consulting Group (LCG) client the Port of Vancouver announced a new biotechnology tenant at their Terminal 1 Columbia Waterfront property. The announcement came Monday November 16th, 2015 from the Port and their partner the Columbia River Economic Development Council (CREDC). The biotech company, AbSci LLC, will reside in the former Red Lion Hotel at the Quay, soon to be named Columbia River Life Sciences Technology Building. Renovations of the hotel will include the creation of offices and a life sciences technology lab space for the company. Life science and global health employment is strong in Washington State employing over 36,000 people. The Port and CREDC are hopeful this move will attract further biotech jobs and innovations to the state, specifically the Southwest Washington region. For the full article click
