As president of Leland Consulting Group, Chris guides the firm’s strategic position as a national leader in transit-oriented development, corridor and downtown revitalization, public-private partnerships, and private-sector development strategies. By mentoring staff and leading multidisciplinary teams, he helps clients find the balance between smart growth principles, economic and market realities, and the human relationships that lead to successful, innovative projects.

 

Formerly a fair weather cyclist, you can now find Chris commuting to work in full rain gear even during Portland’s dark, gray winters.
