Brian Vanneman of Forum Placemaking helps cities and other clients to understand the business of placemaking and to build places that are financially feasible while also meeting goals for community, sustainability, and equity. Brian helps participants in the real estate development and urban planning processes—including cities, developers, investors, tenants, and others—to understand each other’s goals and work together productively. He leads work such as real estate development strategies, market analysis, financial analysis, and the establishment of public-private partnerships between multiple parties. Brian founded Forum Placemaking in 2023, after leading projects at consulting firms and public agencies for more than 18 years.
